Greenbrier is a city in Robertson County, Tennessee, United States. The population was 6,433 at the 2010 census, and at the 2020 census the population was 6,898. == Geography == According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 6.6 square miles (17.2 km2), of which 6.6 square miles is land and 0.04 square mile (0.45%) is water. The city is concentrated along a stretch of U.S. Route 41, southeast of Springfield and northwest of Goodlettsville. Greenbrier lies about 23 miles (37 km) north of Nashville. == Demographics == === 2020 census === As of the 2020 United States census, there were 6,898 people, 2,393 households, and 1,807 families residing in the town. === 2000 census === As of the census of 2000, there were 4,490 people, 1,837 households, and 1,418 families residing in the city.
